You'll start your adventure with a 90-minute cruise down the River Arade, where Ferragudo's little church peeks into view, closely followed by Portimao's bustling harbour. After drifting past the Grotto of Saint Anthony, you'll wander through Portimao's old fisherman's quarters, before heading to Praia da Rocha for golden-sand views from its fortress. Next, the minibus brings you to explore the village of Alvor, with its winding streets and 16th-century Manueline church. To wrap up, you'll stop for an optional drink at a local cafe along Alvor's estuary promenade.
