Het Aquàrium van Barcelona bevindt zich in de oude haven Port Vell en is 's werelds grootste aquarium en educatiecentrum gewijd aan alles wat leeft in de Middellandse Zee. Er is geen betere plek om alles te leren over de zeebodem en de ontelbare soorten zeedieren. Je komt alles over hen te weten dankzij de 35 mediterrane en tropische tanks waar 11.000 zeedieren van ongeveer 450 verschillende soorten leven. Het meest spectaculaire onderdeel is het immense Oceanarium, het enige in Europa met een diepte van 5 m en een diameter van 36 m. Een transparante 80 meter lange tunnel loopt dwars door het Oceanarium en stelt je in staat om tussen haaien, goudbrasems, murenen, maanvissen en nog veel meer diersoorten te wandelen.
Dit ticket geeft ook toegang tot de permanente tentoonstellingen Planeta Aqua en Explora, waar je meer zult leren over de ontwikkeling van water op aarde en waar kinderen met hun vijf zintuigen de onderwaterwereld kunnen ontdekken. Na het aquariumbezoek kun je nog even nagenieten in het café, shoppen in de winkel, een souvenirfoto uitzoeken of nog even plaatsnemen in het auditorium.
