Cozumel El Cielo guided snorkelling tour

This snorkelling trip takes you from the sandy shores of Playa del Carmen to nearby Cozumel Island, a spot just offshore that's brimming with marine life – expect rays, tropical fish and more – and Caribbean views. After a ferry over to Cozumel, you'll hop on a different boat and head to a few mainstay areas in the southern part of the island. You'll snorkel at a couple of coral reefs, Palancar and Colombia, before heading to El Cielo – this spot is known for its resident giant starfish. Afterwards, you'll dock in Cozumel for some free time to explore the town centre before getting back on the return ferry to Playa del Carmen.

Horse riding and cenote adventure

Picture yourself trotting through jungle trails on horseback, then dive into the clear waters of Ojo de Jaguar Cenote – one of the Mexican Caribbean's natural wonders. You'll cool off with a swim in its freshwater pool that's framed by thick forest . And, if you want more, amp up the adrenaline with zip-lining through the treetops or ATV rides along rugged jungle trails. Whichever you pick, you'll finish with a few fajitas to refuel afterwards.

The Riviera Maya can be home to adventure, nature and relaxation, and you'll get to sample all three on this morning of activities. First up, you'll head to a private beach for a guided snorkelling session. The coral reef you'll be exploring forms part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest reef system in the world, where you can expect to spot tropical fish and possibly even turtles and rays. Next, you'll head to a natural cenote – a kind of sacred underground freshwater pool that's unique to this part of Mexico. Here, you can swim around ancient stone formations or simply relax and soak up the ancestral energy.

Full-day Xplor Dolphinclusive adventure

Your day kicks off bright and early with a trip to Delphinus, where you'll have the opportunity to get in the water in small groups with the dolphins that live in the park. You'll learn all about the animals and play with them. Afterwards, you'll make your way to Xplor Park, where activities like zip-lining, buggy riding and cenote swimming are all on the cards. What's more, your transfers are taken care of, plus lunch and all the admission fees for both places are included.
