Do you know what makes the waters of Iceland’s lagoons so blue? They’re jam-packed with minerals that do wonders for your body! The Myvatn Nature Baths near the edge of the Myvatan Lakes is where you’ll be able to relax, enjoy some breathtaking scenery and soak up those minerals. Located in the heart of northeast Iceland, the baths here are manmade, but the geothermal activity that heats the water up is 100% natural! Alongside the lagoon, you’ll find a swim-up bar, steam baths and cafe with indoor and outdoor seating areas where you can stare at the milky blue waters. While less touristic than its big sister the Blue Lagoon, you can expect fewer tourists as you embrace the centuries-old Icelandic tradition of bathing.
