Ever wanted to know the science behind the perfect pint? On this tour of Tulum Brewery, you'll not only learn the theory, you'll also get a hands-on workshop, creating and bottling your very own blend of beer. A Master Brewer will give you a grand tour of Mexico's first craft brewery to use seawater in their brew.
You'll begin with quick overview of the whole process and even take a sip of beer directly from the tank – it doesn't get fresher than that. Then you're into the classroom for a lesson on the theory of beer, where you'll be guided through various beer tastings to identify the characteristics of different brews, like colour, bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Once you know the science, you're ready to create your own personalised blend of beer – you even get to design your own label to slap on the bottle. Round off your tour with a guided tasting of four craft beers, alongside some Mexican bites like tacos and tostadas.
