The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is an unspoiled natural paradise that brings you even closer to Mexico's colourful flora and fauna. You'll whizz along in an all-terrain vehicle then by boat along mangroves to see wildlife up close, snorkel and swim in natural pools, and find peace and tranquillity on beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see.
You'll spend 90 minutes journeying deep into the reserve on the all-terrain vehicle, along exciting off-road trails and through the thick jungle terrain of the Mexican Caribbean. Next, you'll board the boat in Paso Largarto (Lizard Road) where you'll be able to spot dolphins, turtles and maybe even manatees and crocodiles.
They'll be a snorkelling stop at the world's second-largest coral reef, before heading to the natural pool – known as La Piscina — that stretches several metres into the sea. Tuck into a buffet lunch in Punta Allen before rounding the day with some free time in the village.
