Discover the most important monument of the Almería and get to know its long history with this guided tour of the Alcazaba. The Alcazaba of Almería was one of Spain's biggest Islamic fortresses, with almost 40.000 m2 of extension. Its construction lasted for almost 500 years, from the Islamic conquest of the city up to the Catholic Reconquista of 1492.
During this guided tour you'll have the opportunity to visit the monument in deep and discover its incredible interiors. Starting from the Puerta de la Justicia, a replica of the same Gate located in the Alhambra of Granada, you'll enter the wonderful gardens and admire the majestic walls of the fortress, before moving to the other parts of the monument, such as the Muro de la Vela, the royal chambers, the Ajibe and the Ermita de San Juan, built by the Catholic Kings.
