This is a Nature Reserve protected by EU habitats and the core zone of the UN Dublin Bay Biosphere. The most spectacular natural feature, however, will be the huge freestanding rock called “the Stack”. Located at the northeastern corner of the island, it plays host to a large variety of seabirds. There is nothing quite like the experience of the sea from a purpose built boat with a friendly, salty and expert skipper.
