Accompanied by an official guide you will uncover the beauty of the millenary city of Granada, where you will be visiting its most emblematic monuments, reminiscent of this long past.
The first stop of the tour is the residence of the ancient emirs of Granada, the Alhambra. This monumental complex includes El Generalife, summer residence of the sultans, the Nasrid palaces in its entirety and La Alcazaba, which served as the military zone of the citadel. After visiting this incredible monument, you'll go down to the city through the Puerta de la Justicia, and continue your visit through the old medieval entrance that led to the heart of the city, where you'll visit the old lumberjacks square (now named Plaza Nueva) and take a glimpse at the facade of the Real Chancillería, highest Court of Appeal of the Crown of Castille. You will also see the exterior zone of Santa Ana, built over the ancient Almanzora mosque, which houses an exquisite Mudejar roof.
The tour will then take you to visit the lower Albayzin and walk through their teahouses, before passing by the old silk market, the Alcaicería, and the exteriors of the Royal Chapel and the Cathedral of Granada. Your experience will end with a drink and one of the famous tapas of the city.
