Ma Chau Silk Village is located in Chau Hiep Village, Nam Phuoc Town, Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province, famous for growing mulberries, silk germination and silk weaving. Earlier, in the 15th century, the Ma Chau silk weaving village was responsible for providing weaved silk to the royal officials. By the end of the 19th century, this village had more jobs in cotton and fabric weaving. Everyone got to know how to apply industrial and production machinery to increase productivity.
