If you're staying outside these areas, please meet the tour at one of the following designated locations: 1) Tonsai Beach and Railay Beach: meet at the small floating pier on Railay East Beach, in front of Railay Princess Resort & Spa. 2) Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas: take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang. 3) Islanda Hideaway Resort: pickup is at the 7-Eleven near Thara Park Pier. 4) Balcony Party Hostel: meet at the 7-Eleven on the main road. 5) Andakiri Pool Villa: walk to the main road and meet at the T-Junction. 6) Fullmoon Beach Resort: pickup is at the hotel's main road entrance. Speedboats navigate close to the shoreline, allowing passengers a convenient and effortless transition to the beach. While flip-flops are convenient, water shoes offer better protection against sharp objects like shells or rocks on the sand and provide improved traction on wet surfaces
Shorts are an ideal choice, as they dry quickly and allow for greater freedom of movement, especially if the water level rises above your knees when getting on or off the boat
During certain seasons, jellyfish may be present in the Andaman Sea, and contact can cause skin irritation or discomfort. To minimise the risk, it is recommended to wear protective clothing such as long swimwear when swimming
Please note that Thailand's Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation closes Maya Bay every year for two months in August and September
