You will meet your guide in the city centre of Paris to help you get to Versailles by train. Once you will grab your bikes, you will ride over to the market square and your guide will point out some typical places where you can buy food (and of course wine) for a relaxing evening overlooking the castle.
The bike tour will continue through the park of Versailles where you can easily bike through tree-lined paths and trails, enjoying the breathtaking views. You will stop at the Marie-Antoinette's hamlet where your guide will tell you anecdotes about the royal life at Versailles, including its three most important kings.
You will then stop at the Petit Trianon and Grand Trianon before heading to the Grand Canal, where you will stop for your picnic with the sprawling chateau as your view. After the picnic, it will be time to visit the castle with your pre-booked entry time. You will avoid the normally packed rooms and enjoy the space to admire the royal grandeur with a limited number of people. You will also get to see costumed performers as they dance and sing, and play a musical instrument within the castle rooms.
But the best part is yet to come! After the tour of the castle, you will enter the gardens for an evening fountain show. At the end of the evening, you will be amazed by a spectacular fireworks display over the Grand Canal. This is the best way to experience Versailles and an evening you will never forget!
