You'll travel in a small group from Heidelberg and set off to explore some of the highlights of the Odenwald region. After a short, moderate hike, you'll reach the ruins of Schauenburg Castle, where panoramic views stretch across the Upper Rhine Plain.
Next, you'll descend into the Anna-Elisabeth Mine, a former silver and vitriol mine that's more than 500 years old and considered one of the best-preserved visitor mines in the region. Visit its underground passages and discover an important part of the area's heritage.
Back above ground, you'll continue to the Teltschik Tower. Climb the tower's 192 steps to the observation platform and take in views of the surrounding countryside. Afterwards, enjoy a glass of local wine at the foot of the tower.
The final part of the tour takes you to Strahlenburg Castle, a landmark of Schriesheim known for its scenic setting. From here, you'll follow a walking route through the vineyards, enjoying views across the Bergstrasse as the experience comes to an end.
