Discover Chiloé, an island rich in traditions and myths that have survived because of the archipelago’s isolation from the continent. To reach the island, you'll navigate the Canal de Chacao for 30 minutes, admiring a variety of birds and sea lions. Reaching the town of Chacao, you'll be welcomed by its friendly locals and you'll visit the square and church.
The trip continues along the coastal Llao Llao road to Dalcahue, home of a traditional handicraft fair with loom knit clothing and crafts in local woods. You'll visit the Dalcahue church, declared a National Monument of Chile and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After this, you'll have some free time to have lunch.
Later you'll travel to Castro, famous for its stilt houses or Palafitos. You'll have the chance to visit the handicraft fair of Castro, where you'll see its must-see woolen, wooden, and stone articles. You'll make a stop at the San Francisco church, famous for its detailed woodwork and size, you'll also visit the church of Nercón. Finally, you'll start your trip back to your hotel.
