Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and Papal Basilicas tour in Rome

• This tour is not suitable for guests with wheelchairs or any impairments requiring special assistance

Not allowed:

• It is not possible to bring strollers, baby carriages, luggage or suitcases because there's no space to store them on the coach

Know in advance:

• You'll be requested to provide the full names of all participants during checkout. Without this information, access to St. Peter's Basilica cannot be guaranteed
• The guided tour of the Vatican lasts approximately 3 hours, and the guided tour of the Four Basilicas lasts approximately 4 hours, with a break in between. No transfer is provided
• Please note that in case of unexpected closures of some of the areas inside the Museums, the guide may have to modify the itinerary slightly. For example, if some of the internal connecting areas are closed for safety reasons, Raphael's Rooms may be replaced with the Pio Clementino Museum, housing statues like Laocoön and Apollo Belvedere
• Please be aware that some of the landmarks and monuments included in this tour may be subject to ongoing maintenance or restoration work. These activities, while essential for preservation, might result in limited access, temporary visual obstructions, or reduced photo opportunities
• The tour routes are designed to minimise exposure to crowds as much as possible, but be aware that the museums are very busy by nature. Your guide will make sure any delays are minimised and that you get access as quickly as possible
• Entrance to the Vatican requires a strict dress code. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women
• The local operator does not take responsibility for any items left on the bus during the tour
• Please note that infants are free of charge and do not have a reserved seat on the bus
• Access to St. Peter’s Basilica may be unavailable on Wednesday mornings due to the Papal Audience held in St.Peter's Square. The tour itinerary will be adjusted to provide an enhanced experience in the Vatican Museums
